While Marida is dedicated to the sales, Alessandro and Sara, both of whom from a very early age had been absorbed in the goldsmith’s art, take on specific studies maturing in their techniques and passion, and together with Marco they expand the laboratory adding modern tools and technology.

Marco Mancini’s story begins in 1978 when a master goldsmith, watching him work fine strings of gold, understands the innate talent he has and foresees a brilliant future for him. His father Elio immediately believes in him and in 1982 after an important experience in a prestigious goldsmith’s workshop in Rome, he encourages him to open his own laboratory in Civitavecchia where Marco soon becomes a reference point for the whole community.
From being an apprentice to becoming a master goldsmith, a role model for his own children who today can claim heritage from his work. From being a scholar in the workshop to his meeting with the Pope ;Marco’s story is that of an extraordinary life, passed in transforming the unreal into real, creating timeless objects with the maximum expressions of precision and creativity.

A story told through time
The work of master Marco Mancini is indissolubly tied to the city of Civitavecchia, a fount of inspiration for many of his most important artistic creations.
Navalia is the gift that Marco offers to the city on celebrating his first 25 years of activity.
This event was celebrated by an exhibition of goldsmith’s masterpieces coming from the Principality of Monaco and also from the Master himself.
Artistic objects are like ships setting sail in the immense seas of time. Just like “Navalia” a refined gift given by Marco to the city where he was born. A timeless piece of art, rich in minute handmade pieces, precious stones and symbolic references to the history and traditions of this sea-faring city. A masterpiece in jewellery and technology.
An extraordinary priceless book which has mounted complex mechanisms enabling the opening of the pages and the reading of its contents. 4.5 kilograms of silver laminated in 24 kt. gold was used to make Navalia. The cover of the sculpture represents an ancient bollard dating back to 1519, and a lion’s head with a ring ending in a diamond shape between its jaws hence becoming the symbol of Marco Mancini’s work.

MARIDA
Marida met Marco in 1984.
She was immediately attracted, to he who was to become her husband, by his artistic spirit and geniality.
From thereon she enters the world of jewellery. Supporting and advising Marco becomes one of her priorities as so does taking care of her clients.
Many years of experience and a huge amount of passion makes her work in the art of jewels and in transmitting this passion precious and unique.
MARCO
A genial and creative mind used to think differently. A life spent serving his passion for the art of jewels.
A passion which has lasted forty years and continues timelessly to evolve and surprise generations.
Having an innate predisposition for problem-solving brought about unthinkable results which many thought to be impossible. A true visionary, he is an artisan for the future, who year by year renews and surprises the world of jewellery.
ALESSANDRO
Creative, curious and eclectic since being a child he emerged himself in the world of gems and jewels.
In 2008 he begins his education in the goldsmith’s art, which is then followed by the study of gems, his great passion.
In 2017 he graduates with the title of ‘’Graduate Gemmologist ‘’ at the I.G.I. institute in Antwerp.
During his young but intense career he participates in the development of exceptional and complex projects such as; the creation of the most costly and precious jewelled eyewear in the world.
SARA
She has a decisive and tenacious character.
Her name is SARA and she loves both her work and her family.
When she smiles it makes her day happier, she loves both walking and the quiet of the mountains.
Her father has, with patience and dedication, taught her the Art, and mounting stones is her passion, creating jewellery is her dream…
Her secret formula is: insisting, persisting reaching and obtaining her goals.
